Beth Lee started playing music a decade ago, acquiring her talent and affinity for music from her father, a long-time musician in the Houston music scene. After she moved to Austin, she recorded her first album in 2007 with the help of her dad and his old drummer, Lisa Harrington-Squyres, not to mention local stalwarts Scrappy Jud Newcomb and Ron Flynt. Since then she has played around Austin with a number of reputable musicians, including guitarists Matt Giles, Landis Armstrong, Jasper Kronum, Jud Newcomb and drummers Vicente Rodriguez and Wayne Duncan. She frequents venues like the Hole in the Wall, Triple Crown, Waterloo Ice House, and the Saxon Pub, as a duo with her father and as a band.
