Kyosho Inferno Vs. Team Academy STR-4

Finally got my dad to race his Kyosho Inferno against my Team Academy STR-4. The Academy is running a Novak 3.5r. There are a couple races and then some messing around, first race starts at 35 seconds. Sorry for the crappy footage, better quality coming soon.

Inferno is a GXR28 engine and the Academy is a Novak 3.5r

All depends on gearing and battery also a electric motor is instant power as nitro has to build up the rpm's..... either way both fun to run and this is a great hobby to get the family into as seen in this video

it depends on the gear ratio... the engine of the nitro truck/car..... all in all.... Nitro can and will beat electric in more than one way.

in a drag race, the electic car will eventually get pwn3d if the gas has a greater top speed. the electric has better acceleration and can reach it's top speed faster. if the electric is good for drifting, it would put the gas to shame in a cornering competition.
