One of the highlights of the trip was traversing Blue Rag, an iconic ridge top trail that culminates in a very steep section before opening to a wonderful look out. Our highest point for the trip at 1,700 metres; as our New Zealand friend says....'mere pimples', or was that, 'pumples.'

You'll notice that all the trees are dead for as far as the eye can see, victims of a series of ferocious wild fires.

These trees are called Mountain Ash. An extremely hard resilient wood, resistant to rotting. It is expected the tree will remaining standing for up to 200 hundred years. In the meantime saplings will grow from under ground tubers to replace them.

  • top work!

  • @anthonyparisotto Thanks mate. This was a fantastic place.

  • Your videos are never long enough.

  • @ScaryJudgeofCaracter They are, you've just got to buy Trail Bike Adventure Magazine and most of the time a DVD will be attached with extended vids from what you see on youtube. The problem I have is that youtube takes too much upload time and I don't get any financial reward for the large amounts of effort to make the vid.

  • @edog200 Remember the effort to make a 10 minute as opposed to a 2 minutes is exponentially bigger. I have considered selling DVD's over the net, but I would prefer to just stream, but I don't think you'd pay for what you are seeing. Anyway we are stuck.

  • Loved it. Video is soooo clear and crisp. Great!!

  • @Kero400420 Thanks mate. We have been steadily improving on video and sound quality of the years. Please consider subscribing, you could be number 501!

  • @ooalibaba The Yamaha is a great bike but the suspension needs improvement.

  • that looked like heaps of fun, love the backing music as well. Did the Yama keep up with the KTM in the bush? It is a lovely looking bike!
