Pruning in summer reduces vigour by reducing photosynthesis but pruning in winter encourages growth

Well, That Plum Tree is very Small for a 14-15 years of Plant. we have Much taller trees of plum here in pakistan. But i guess they are of Different Kind. The other point is that why are you cutting them when they are Green, full of leaves and fruits? We do all the cutting in December around to prepare them for Good Fruits.

I believe that plants & trees really don't feel pain, they do not have nerve systems like humans & animals do, there is really no proof otherwise, think about that next time you eat meat =P
I just pruned my tree it was looking really sickly with dead branches, I feel like I just cut all the extra bagage, sometime when a plant is on the verge of dieing pruning will revitalise it, I used to think the same way as you, till I did research, there is really nothing we can we need plants 2 sustain us

too hard to see what's going on. defeats the purpose of video
Very good stuff thanks, I wish more of our gardens had things to eat in them. I wasn't aware of getting light and oxygen into the center of the tree.
