@saifjoo Yes. GPS does not require internet connection.
You need to download an application that will have the map of your country and that's it.

my friend please help me and answer my Q
i want buy iphone 3Gs soon it is factory unlock but my problem i will go back to my country (jordan) which we dont have any company that has any conect with internet like here in london so i my case can i use it like you in jordan or i have to buy spichal pice or its allready this iphone 3Gs have this

On iPhone 3GS you don't need this.
This solution is only for the first iPhone.
