WitmerLabs: Living Paleontology

Dr. Larry Witmer and his students ask, "What can we understand about the dinosaurs as living creatures?" Through a number of techniques, from dissection to CT scans of both modern and extinct animals, they work out the soft tissues of dinosaurs often thought of as piles of bone.

This was my first project for the video production class. I wanted to make some slight changes and only recently found a moment to make them. Please excuse the graininess on the video of Dr. Witmer, there was a technical issue with the camera. Thanks to Dr. Witmer, David Dufeau, and William Porter for putting up with me filming in their lab!
