This is how we have enjoyed our New Year's Eve and New Year holidays here in Taiwan. Notice that our baby has "happy feet" - he likes to dance!
For small babies, we usually pack the monetary New-Year gift in a red envelope with a red string and hang it on baby's neck. This will ensure that our baby will not lose their gifts. Actually, we give monetary gifts to all our children on the New Year holidays in Taiwan. During the New Year holidays, we would like to visit nearby temples where you can see so many people.
The audio part of our recording is mixed with a "New Year Blessings" song from a very interesting recent YouTube video taped in NYC (we've enjoyed watching this video clip!):

NYC and Taiwan are exactly on the opposite sides of the Earth and with 12 hours difference! Hence, the Taiwanese New Year comes half-a-day before NYC; the Earth does spin quite fast! Nowadays, it takes at least 18 hours to fly on a jet plane to go between Taiwan and NYC.
