Forklift Danceworks is a dance company based in Austin, Texas and directed by Allison Orr. Their goal is to "celebrate the extraordinary in the ordinary by creating original performances inspired by the movement of everyday life." In this project, titled "Sextet," the movements of two blind men and their guide dogs are used to build an ensemble piece. Allison teamed with Karly Dillard, a professional dancer, and two non-dancers Sozan Schellin and John Slatin. The performance in this video was done at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.
