I ride on a Roubaix Pro, but have to tell, SL2 was designed by lil' angels :)

Specialized now offer a "hooligan" graphic treatment for the SL2. Check out their site. Good luck getting one tho.

There is no change for the 2009 model. The 2010 will be different, but give me a break with the 50% stuff.

I own an SL2 (Specialized crankset, Mavic wheels, all else Record). It is in a different league from previous SLs, or anything else I've ridden. So efficient. You feel like Pantani on the climbs. It's for racers only tho -- stiff ride, twitchy steering -- like a fast horse you have to show it who's boss.

The Sl2 frame is, without a doubt, way too heavy to be a climbing frame. If your goal is to be competitive you'll need something lighter.

yeah but the sl2 is the best among the rest.
I have some questions cconsidering this bike: Is this bike suitable for mountains to? Do you know the weight of this bike?
thx

I have a 58cm SL2 and it weighs in the low 15 pounds with clincher wheels. I've found that it is a great climbing bike, stiff and responsive when descending.

I am at the Specialized launch with their '09 bike and there is no structural change between the '08 versus the '09 SL2. Graphics were changed only.
