This is a response to HowToScream's video that teaches the fry technique. I understand the basics of it and I can KINDA do it. But I feel it's not developed and I get a weird sensation in my throat when I do it, and I am seeking assistance. I'm not very good at false chord so I want to perfect my fry so that I have a means to scream until I can get better at false. Any help from anyone will be appreciated. I know it's not very good so please no rude comments. I'm open to critisism and as long as it's a tip intended to help me get better I am totally fine. But please, no "You suck"s or "Go do something more productive with your life"s. You know what I mean. So with that said, I'll leave this open for you guys. Thanks!

it sounds simple and stupid, but just keep practicing it. Fry is a scream that develops constantly the more you practice. If you stay dedicated to it you'll be able to mold it more into a sound that you want, or what you call a "real" scream.
I'd be interested to hear what the studio recording sounds like, even if you think it's bad. The scream on this video was honestly quite good. I've heard a LOT worse.

It actually sounds pretty good on my end. The only worry you have is your "weird sensation"? That is most likely the vocal fry itself tingling (which if you've ever fooled with throat singing when you hit really low vibrations in the Fry it often tingles and can sometimes make you cough.. My only advice would be try keeping the larynx down (I really can't see it in the video) about half a yawn (not the climax, make the ung or mum sound to get there) and make sure you can relax and do it
