What went on in my life pre my awakening and how by finding the Esotericteaching the veil was lifted from in front of my eyes. How My journey started to where I now have become a devotee of Krsna and we are preparing for 2012. What ever the change may bring we will be ready for it, survive it and bring the Vedic teachings back to the people who survive.

@ConorRyan22 Great books. I'm actually still at the stage of trying to achieve a solid meditation position.

Just a question, is Krsna the G-d that you accept as the creator. Books mention G-d and Krsna as separate, why needing krsna, can you just believe in G-d, and think Krsna is a brahmin. I want to know more about the practical side of it, how do I join ? Do you do meditation guys ?

@SomeUser9753 Who is G-d? Are you afraid to write God. Kṛṣṇa is God, Buddha is God, Allaha is God, Jesus is God's son. @homebasenator People should simple follow the instructions of God, chant His Holy names, live the pure life as recommended in the Vedas and everything will go very nicely will go perfectly. Hare Kṛṣṇa!

@ConorRyan22 I see pranayama as a way for people of my culture(a culture forced upon me called american) to start the awkward feelings they should feel and realize as they wastefully travel to and fro.

@homebasenator Yoga means to connect or to tie, comes from the Sanskrit Uck, and what is the ultimate connection the connection with the Supreme, pure Bhakti Yoga is the highest yoga there is, all this prana control is fine but is you are not attaining to the Supreme then you are simple wasting time.

The practice of yoga will straighten anyone out. The life lived by Swami Ramdev is worth a thousand utube searches :D

I used to smoke, drink unhealthily and play video games, but the practice of yoga gave me realization and I do not care for the lifestyle anymore. The cure is amazingly enough...yourself.
