How did you manage to get the 1200U running on Windows 7? I am having the same problem. Thanks.

@LynnJordon -- I downloaded The Windows XP Version, Extracted it, Right Clicked the Setup Icon, Properties, Make it compatible Windows Vista SP 2. Install. Enjoy.

"Found a very easy solution on another forum. Download latest XP drivers for the 1200 from Epsons site. Unzip the contents of the package into a folder. Go into the folder and access PROPERTIES for the Setup.exe program. Under the COMPATIBILITY page check XP SP2. Run Setup.exe and the drivers will now install with no problem (ignore Vista warning mesages). Plug in the scanner and it should function fine, mine does ;-) Hope this helps!"

@LynnJordon Rats, this looked like a great solution, but didn't work for me, had the same thing here as you noted above (except I haven't installed Virtual PC) - let me know if you find a another solution that works!

Hello and thank you for your help. I tried both Vista and XP compatibility and the package installs, but Windows 7 then reports that it cannot find the drivers. I finally had to install Virtual PC with Windows XP, which carries a lot of overhead for this application. I keep looking for a better solution though. Thanks again.
