Hawak Kamay Live

Tara's live performance of Yeng's "Hawak Kamay" song for the annual Filipino Christmas party in Texas. This was performed on December 16, 2006. Forgive the camera man for the shaky video because he was excited to film it and forgot he was taping it. Anyways, Tara is not a native speaker of Tagalog but is very much appreciative of all things Filipino. She's even wearing a traditional Filipino outfit to show her respect for the culture. Positive feedback is welcomed.

Yes Tara Lynn Smith is from Texas. She is in Cameroon, Africa serving for the Peace Corps but will be in the Philippines next year for a few months. And there's a small tightly knit Filipino community where she is from. :) I'm proud to say that my dad and uncle are the guitarists, and my friend Isiak Holiday Jr., who also sings on this channel is on the keyboard. Thanks to all for watching our channel.
