if you used my username and password to access gotalk order entry, you would still NOT be able to access it, unless you were doing it from MY INTERNET CONNECTION and an AUTHORIZED I.P. - I thought (at the time) this was a major inconvenience, doing business on the road, but it was a necessary part of doing business, and being entrusted with clients' private and personal information. Vodafone, the company, is GUILTY AS CHARGED and needs to be taught a lesson. Boycott the co and refuse 2 pay bills
i had a dealership with a local telco called gotalk, and had access to their order entry system - including accessing private details of customers my dealership has signed up to them via the internet, however whenever I was out on the road, I was using dynamic IP rather than a static one, which required me to authenticate that IP before getting access to the database, so if you, or anybody else, got hold of my login details you would not be able to access confidential client data.
Vodafone should be dragged before the courts, and their telecommunications license withdrawn and the company's operations here shut down, with very stiff penalities that should send a shockwave through its global operations - this is no laughing matter - we are talking about YOUR DETAILS, full name, birthdate, drivers license number, this is a most serious breach of confidentiality that should see senior executives thrown in jail
OMG I HATE HOW THEY TRY AND MAKE A STORY OR RAISE CONCERN OVER NOTHING. yes you can login onto the database online from home, but you need the dealer passworlds, so either someone who works there or is related could have only if they had the password. but now they have changed it and there is no online source to log into and have changed the system in terms of security
Grrr Vodafone makes my blood boil

Lucky for Vodafail that they aren't facing accusations of conspiring to delete documents and records to cover up on their failings.......or are they?
