@hairio01 ...of people in Northern Ireland wish to remain in the UK. These people have lived in Northern Ireland for many generations. They are from Northern Ireland, not Scotland or England. Some of their ancestors will most likely have come from Scotland or England, but part-Scottish or part-English ancestry among Catholics/Republicans is not unheard of. The only way for Northern Ireland to move forward is for the whole community to try to thrash out some sort of consenus. Will it ever happen?

@hairio01 What do you mean "your own country"? Here in Scotland most people would consider him Irish, although some people would be able to tell he comes from the North from his accent. And he's definitely not English. As long as people in Northern Ireland can't come to terms with the differences each person has with the other half of the community, your society will remain as polarised as it is. Pretty much everyone in Northern Ireland is from Northern ireland. It's just slightly over half...
