This is for all those who don't know my Granny's recipe for a sponge cake, which should add up to.....*pulls out abacus*....... erm...alot of people.
3 Cups Flour (Sifted)
4 level tsps Baking Powder
1/2 tsp Salt
4 Eggs
1/2 lb Butter ie 1 block
2 Cups White Sugar
1 tsp Vanilla Essence
1 Cup milk (the thinner the milk the better so I use 3/4 cup milk and 1/4 water ...thnx sis for the tip!)
