Amen. Would-a, should -a, could-a, now we look back. The hippies had the most sensible ideas and no one listened. The gov was too out of touch, and I know it still is! The voice was one to be heard, the music was great and the message was one that should never be overlooked. May God Bless our troops in Iraq, if I can even still say that, I mean GOD of course. Wake up liberal America! You're not what we want or need.

I dont agree with spending tax dollars but we damned sure well should have listened to those hippies. They told us to drive smaller cars & invest in solar & wind energy. They told us fossil fuels were finite. They said recycle. They told us to have smaller families. Now there are 3 times as many people generating greenhouse gasses.
And then there was the music: simply put, the greatest assemblage of music artists ever. The hippies were truely the "greatest generation".

Don't get me wrong folks I love most of the acts that played at Woodstock and I'll admit that I was born 2 years after but if we are gonna open up a museum for this let's push a bill through to open up a museum to display that wonderful blue dress. I'll gladly let my tax dollars go for that!! :)
