  • You shouldn't had put the male in the cage cause he could have ate the babies....you have to separate the male from the female and the babies cause he will always end up eating them....

  • @younub331 that is not the case, the dad was in there with the mom and they were both taking turns taking care of the babies, no fighting, no babies were killed, everyone was fine. now i just have rats and mice, so ill upload on them later.

  • sorry everyone, there are two hamsters because one is a male, and one a female, she didnt try to eat her own babies at all and they grew up fine, they had teeth at about 5 days old, the mice made it to a good age but when they opened their eyes i should have seperated them, the rat is the biggest one, the black and white one, and the others with color are the mice, the ones that semi look like the parents are the babies.

  • they were from a reptile shop, i moved the box she was in so the mother got uncomfortable so she was moving all the babies and lost one of the mice in the bedding, i helped her out though, it was cute.

  • @kyo666 this is interesting i would think the hamster would eat the babies

  • Hey did your female hamster ever try to eat her babies when they were born, or at all?

  • Why are there two hamsters? Are they both female, or is one male?
