A few of my throws taped and then replayed in slow motion. You may notice many flaws with the technique, since then i have switched to a spin which has proven me better results

  • Just for reference, i was a freshmen when this video was taken, i now am a spinner and my technique looks nothing like this

  • your biggest problem is your left foot is cutting you off from really putting power into it. It should be further back than your right foot.

  • thanks, do you mean at the beginning of the glide my left foot should go up to my chest, or something of that nature?

  • Dude you have a power position of a spinner. You never attack the board and thats what gliders do i suggest you learn the spin

  • Yeah, that's what i learned about halfway through the season, i would post the videos of me spinning but sadly they were all corrupted when my friend dropped my camera

  • O_o if my coach saw your technique he may possibly ring your neck. Like with the power throw, you bent your left leg. Coach tells us to keep it straight as long as we are righty, lefty vise versa.

  • you need to suck up your right leg and keep your left arm back

  • your dragging your feet and lookin down follow the shot

  • I have a question for you. When you do the power position, you keep your throwing arm straight. this is to be done the same when you glide correct? I cant see your throwing arm very well since the camera angle is coming from the left

  • dont jump when you do power

  • I played here one time and I threw my farthest this is at JFK right?

  • My man, you gotta keep your left leg straight, all your power comes from your back leg, you twist it and accelerate through the throw.
