See how much work it is just to keep one little Ocelot happy at Big Cat Rescue. Amazing Grace is well worth all the time and energy we spend on her and all the other 140 exotic cats that call Big Cat Rescue in Tampa ther home. Big Cat Rescue is home to former "pet", circus, and zoo animals including lions, tigers, leopards bobcats, and Ocelots to name a few.

  • Thank you for taking great care of these beautiful animals. What do you guys do when hurricanes come through?

  • @Battle5star Our cages are built to withstand hurricanes and the cats have steel reinforced concrete dens, we keep everything trimmed down and picked up around the sanctuary and close all the cats in open air enclosures into their areas with roofs. We have a plan of action in case of a category 5 hurricane was coming our way.

  • Wonderful and a labour of love for BCR.team. I go on your site daily. You guys will be blessed, what goes around comes around. You all deserve the world. Was Grace watching from the side? I would like to think she felt spoilt at her new cat-a-tat and does she have a friend to share it with? You people are the best.

  • Hi, Amazing Grace really enjoys her new improved enclosure she now as access to 3 cylinder style sections and a tree that leads up into the tunnel to the other side. Grace lives alone though ocelots are typically solitary animals as are most cats except the lion.

  • I feel like crying. I want one as a pet and know its illegal but they rock so much and look too awesome to NOT have as pets. D:

    Is suicide the answer???

  • I'd probably just get a domestic cat that won't spray all over your house, ocelots although cute really stink and are best viewed at accredited sanctuaries or zoos.

  • im getting to ocelots

  • @tormentga Domestic cats are a suitable answer. They don't spray ultra-strong pee everywhere!! :)

  • Starting at 6:50, it looks like Grace walked right beside you up that tree. It takes a mighty deep trust between cat & keeper for that to happen without incident. She seems to have known what you were doing & to be grateful for it now.

  • i love when they purrrrrr!!! :)

  • You can get on ocicat! (to tormentga)

  • Thanks for watching and your offer of help to get us more exposure, we'll look into it! Thanks again!

  • Its amazing how dedicated you all are for these animals! Truly amazing! You are amazing well done!
