This is the corresponding TV series to the final chapter of the Quatermass trilogy, written by Nigel Kneale at almost 20 years distance from the original Quatermass trilogy. I am speaking about the novelization of the screenplays, since I read them as they has been published as novels. The atmosphere of this 1979 final chapter is very oppressive, pretty different from the anxious, but mysterious atmosphere of the original 1950s trilogy.

And yes, I am Italian too :-)

I live in Italy (this video is Italian, not Spanish) found the DVD by chance, read the back, was immediately reminded of Torchwood: CotE and picked up.

I watched it last night, it was beautiful (unfortunately the DVD has no English track)

Being a bit sad, looked up some of the production staff - the same names! I sometimes hate being right! (They must be SO old now!). This series of torchwood was very good though! I like sci-fi to have BIG ideas instead of soap in space, so this was so refreshing!?

I've just watched 'Torchwood - children of earth' and it reminded me of this so much i had to look it up - why is it so hard to get hold of, unless you're Spanish?
