Scars and stretch marks are all very different and delicate to treat. We customize each individual scar and stretch mark removal treatment for every patient. Scars and stretch marks are typically treated with three different lasers in each session.

First, every scar or stretch mark is individually targeted. Next, we do an overall color blending of the scar area (painting), causing the turn-over of your base-line melanin (old melanin is replaced with new) which evens out your coloration. Thirdly, to fill in the scar from the inside out, we will stimulate the production of collagen with an intense collagen treatment. This targets old deteriorated collagen deep in the dermis in order to accelerate its removal by your bodys own natural processes. We will also target fibroblast cells throughout your dermis, stimulating them to produce amplified quantities of new young collagen.

The last portion of the scar and stretch mark removal treatment will smooth out the surface of your scar with an epidermal resurfacing (laser peel). This phase removes a few microns (30-50%) of the epidermis (the dead cells on the top layer of your skin), along with its imperfections, discolorations, fine wrinkles and roughness.

Scar and stretch mark removal usually will take approximately 4-6 treatments in 3-4 week intervals.

  • Getting rid of scars is a tricky where each individual scar will receive customized laser treatment depending on its size, shape, color and location. We have had great success with nearly all of our patients! Do you live in or near Los Angeles or Irvine, CA?

  • i cut myself with a blade 2 years ago and i have scars on my hand and on my stomach is it possible to get rid of em completely?????plz answer

  • @udaniya Scars can certainly leave us feeling like we have marks left upon our skin that remind us of an incident or just plain aggravate us because our attention is always drawn to them as a flaw. • i'm 13 and i have 2 scars on my face and i cried so many times but the problem is i of course i had the chickenpox but then i scratched one and now i have a scar =(

can somewhone tell me if this laserthing could also get that away ??

  • @mimmiandkaykay Since you are very young there is still a chance that your epidermis will still have the cellular turnover rate to heal these scars over time. By removing these scars with laser, you are merely inspiring the skin to regenerate itself. Another way that our laser protocol can be helpful is by restoring your uneven skin tone with a very light resurfacing laser to help even out the skin by ever so slightly removing a minimal layer of the scar tissue.

  • Let's not forget about the cancer one might develop 10 years post laser treatment......:-/

  • @CherokeeMoor All of our laser treatments that we perform have been tested for over 11 years. Skin cancer develops in skin when its layers have been damaged over time by UVA and UVB light frequencies that are emitted from the sun or a tanning bed. Our laser treatments can often combat skin cancer with the removal of dead and damaged skin cells that have seen too much sun and have the potential to turn in to skin cancer. A lot of our very fair and light skinned patients come to us for just that.

As little i used to scratch everything itchy until i started bleeding

And when it healed up it left ugly scars.... i have 32 scars on my arms :(

Is it possible to get rid of them?

  • Does it hurt???

  • @jerryaltman Dermaflage is the way to totally conceal scars because it fills in the indentations. Developed by a Hollywood special effects make-up artist, we are making scars disappear. All kinds of scars: acne, chicken pox, mole removal, car accident, surgery, port scars....
