make sure you dont step in between piques its just pique then you stop in plea(sp) pique
-
you are doing piques and step ups.
which is why the legs are switching.
and relax your arms, you look kinda stiff.
but keep up the good work.
-
pique to the right is with your left leg up..
you are doing both right and left..which is kinda weird.

No problem! I made this video when I was just learning them, so I'm sorry for the examples being so poor.

Love the leotard color....and what's the difference between en dehors and en dedan

Thanks! :)
En dedan means toward the supporting leg. So, when doing pique to the right, step on your right leg and pick up your left (like at 0:10).
En dehors means away from the supporting leg. So, when doing pique to the right, step on your left leg and pick up your right (like at about 0:14). I was doing en dedan, then en dehors and I kept switching back and forth.

I think I might know why you've been having a hard time with turns. I think (by watching this) that maybe... try spotting faster, and whipping your left arm around faster.
