  • I shot a video with the same camera in XP using a class 4 SD card. I logged and transferred my .mts files into Final Cut, using Apple Pro res 422 and yet the quality is really not as good as that. What am I doing wrong?? Is your video shot in UXP? Could it just be that my video was shot inside (though not particularly in low light)?

  • @xxxmotekxxx I always use UXP. Well, to do some testing... you can transfer the .mts directly to Youtube and see how they come out. You might have had a case of very low light or some bad export settings for your final video. For some more sample footage, directly from the camera with no conversions at all, have a look at my other channel: HDRandom :)

  • Hi What is the best setting for this camcorder ???

  • @Fayner4 Auto does the trick for most of the time. In lower light situations I use Manual and up the brightness a bit. For fireworks, Twilight mode is the best... you can see my video of the Fireworks :)

  • I HAVE THIS CAM!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @rubenv Your footages on your other channels look amazing!! I'm gonna try shooting in UXP. Do you use a class 6 SD card, or higher? Also, does shooting in UXP mean that I won't be able to burn my final video on a DVD? Because on the camera it's written that UXP is only for Blue-ray disc...

  • May I ask what Class you were using for the SDHC card? Also did you export the video file from editing program like Sony Vegas/Adobe Premiere in h.264?

I've noticed the quality in a lot of GZ-HM200 test vids vary. Some are typical HD quality...but some are just godly like this one. Any input would be fine. Thanks.

  • uhh , kay!

  • I Know For The Fireworks ... Im Quebec4323 .. lol Fayner4is my new account ! .. Thanks i will try to up the brightness on low light
