official Ps3 headset Problem... HELP!!!

yeah its been 2yrs. i honestly forgot how i fixed it. I ended up buying tritton ax720.
you could try:
-plug in the headset into ps3 (doesn't matter how)
-delete it off ur ps3
-keep plug into ps3 until you see results :) lol

i know it sounds like a joke but thats how I "fixed" it. just save your money and buy some astro's b/c nothing else compares to them not even trittons

@NitEMaRe9382 for my virtual surround sound headset (officially for ps3) all the volume changes are disabled except 3 & OFF.. so i don't know what to do..

just go to options and put voice volume up.. in the cod mw3 menu

hey guys i have a head set and when i go to play cather n mw3 no one can hear me but i go to audio device settings and i can hear myself perfectly also the same thing happened with my other head set plz help
