1.07 Thanks For The Memories, Even Though They Weren't So Good
SEASON FINALE
The episode begins on the day of Haley's Wedding. Rachel walks out to get the mail, finding a notice saying that she flunked. At the Reception, Brooke and Lucas are setting up, Brooke still feels awkward about Lucas's box of Peyton Stuff and tells him that she is leaving town for the summer after the wedding. Nathan and Haley get married. Lucas is the Best Man while Brooke is the Maid of Honor. At the wedding, Brooke and Lucas dance together and Lucas tells Brooke that he missed her every day they were apart. Brooke realizes that Lucas really loves her and decides to give him a second chance. The next day, Brooke is packing when Rachel tells her that she got expelled from school for failing too many of her courses. Causing Brooke to leave town upset that her sister is leaving town for good because she failed. Rachel calls Mouth and tells him to meet her at the airport. Meanwhile, Lucas looks at an engagement ring he had saved for Brooke. At the airport, Rachel hears her boarding call, not wanting to leave alone, she asks Mouth is he wants to come with her. Mouth says yes and they leave town arm in arm. The next day, Lucas takes the ring and drives to New York, where Brooke is to propose to her. Later that night, Nathan and Haley are walking home together, indulging in married life, when Haley is hit by a car, leaving her lying on the pavement, covered in blood.
