I decided i wanted to do these lyrics as a recitation...I have not yet finalized the melody for this...so this is what i've got.

Btw...For those who may be curious...This was written as a take on what a friendly message from an extra-terrestrial intelligence might be if decoded...And human reflection on what such an experience might be like...The friendly and rather lonely alien message...Empty is my world...without you...

you know, I actually love this as a recitation! that used to be a huge part of "entertainment" people reciting poetry or reading aloud to one another around the fire and hearth, and so I think it is a Timeless way to showcase these words which echo through Space and Time. I always used music to give me a voice that I did not always have, suffering from Selective Mutism as I did and still do, somehow behind the veil of melody I could "speak"... so I have a huge respect for the Spoken Word.

@naledinightlight Thanks!...You know after i recorded this i realized that what i really wanted was for William Shatner to do the recitation...But i suppose i'll be riding high on an outbound starship before that comes to pass...
