@jenifuhr thank you! like me you must be a starbucks barista. but to add to that. a lot of starbucks stores DO put the sleeves on every drink despite the fact that starbucks standards are just for water based drinks. so to steve.. i'm sorry your store doesnt. plus right there on the hand off plane and even on the condiment bar where you add your creme sugar to your plain brewed coffee has the sleeves there for you. pick one up... you have hands too.

BTW at Starbucks they are only required to put the sleeve on water-based hot drinks. Any milk based drinks don't get sleeves unless it is made extra-hot. You said you only get regular coffee so, it should have one, so what's the problem?

By the way... I went to 7-11 the other morning for coffee. I brought my cup to the counter, and while fishing around for my cast, the guy behind the counter asked me if I want a sleeve. I said 'yeah, sure'... he then POINTED to the coffee station and said, 'They're over there.' I swear...
