WE are the ones who need to do something

  • He was a symbol for all those orangutans who are starving and need help and are just so weak they cannot even make it with the help because it comes too late.

The Indonesian Government should help more with their orangutans and not let them get into this state in the first place.

  • @eccentricoldcow: You are right. The Indonesian government needs to do something.

  • El mundo no está en peligro por las malas personas sino por aquellas que permiten la maldad EINSTEIM

  • My sadness, love and concern for these gorgeous creatures deepens the more I see them in trouble. I do all I am able to help, but would really LOVE to be a surrogate Mum or help in a practical way. Lone is a very special person who does such wonderful things for Orangs. Pity the Indonesian government does not feel the same way about Orangs and thier habitat. Shame on them and the rotters who expolit them.

  • This is a sad, and I am sorry, eveery little orangutan needs to survive. I wish there was somewhere in the world we could place them where they would be safe from humans, and they could be happy orangutans in the the wild.

It is sad that he died.......

  • so sad- i am sorry for that poor little orangutan- he died, but at least he had a good life, and was not killed by starvation, and not having a home to live in x

  • This is how the sad story ends!

David Irons: I kept him alive for about two weeks, but unfortunately he had only just been rescued and was already weakened when he had his accident, which is there on film. It was very sad.

He was a poor little soul, semi-wild.

He never felt comfortable with humans, yet he was too young to survive in the wild by himself.

  • Poor little guy :(
