Peter Schiff gives the Libertarian Party some tough medicine "We Need to Influence the GOP!"

Peter Schiff, keynote speaker at the LP of CT Convention, tells the audience that it is a waste of resources running as a minor party. "We haven't won anything in 40 years" and "we don't have another 40 years to try." Instead, he recommends joining the Republican party while it is in shambles in order to expand the influence of the libertarian wing. We can only hope that Peter Schiff will lead by example and run for Senate in 2010 against the neocon Rob Simmons in the primary and the crook Chris Dodd in the general election.

@JulesManson A Libertarian has never won a federal election and it has been around for 40 years. If you want something that is more likely to work of the two approaches, Peter's approach wins every time. It is a shame, but most people vote for the D or the R instead of the person.

Libertarians are extremely hypocritical when ignoring social issues, because Libertarians are always attacking traditional marriage.
