Senator Menendez Marks Veterans Day by Calling for Passage of the VOW to Hire Heroes Act

Sen. Robert Menendez (D-NJ) marked Veterans Day and Military Families Month by calling on Congress to help veterans by passing the VOW to Hire Heroes Act, which gives tax credits to businesses that hire returning veterans and a greater tax credit to businesses that hire wounded veterans.

Senator Menendez, I do not agree with any of your positions with the exception of help our troops returning home and helping them find work.

with that said I only receive a new letter from you once in a blue moon. I receive newsletters from my congressman once a week twice should something very serious come up.

Senator - please work on gving American companies tax breaks that keep jobs here in America and for those that send them elswere theyshould not receive the same. A good American Company that is creating jobs for us should be rewarded. President Obama spoke of doing this a while back and we need it more than than ever. Please we must invest in America and keep our jobs here - not send them to China, India and elsewhere. Our Veterans deserve this and Happy Veteran's Day! Thank you Senator!

I had a friend - a former veteran - who has since passed away who had wanted to start a business to help the veterans who were returning from the war. This is a great idea and I believe it will be a win-win situation. I hope the bill passes.
