can i just say "they will eat when the game starts"?
pls help. i really dont know the difference between this 2 tenses

@guitarmagic23 Yes, you can say it just like that and doing so would be simple future.
Future continuous would be, "they will be eating when the game starts." The difference is subtle and maybe hard to see. In simple future, it means they will start eating when the game starts. Continuous is that they are already eating at the time the game starts. Maybe the difference isn't obvious here but could be very important in other sentences and contexts.
