getting a blood test

this is me getting a blood test for my pre op for scoliosis surgery :) i am so afraid of needles and with the help of my child life speacialist and my mom i did it! :) i finally got the courage to put this on and show the world tht every one has fears and u can definetly get over them :)

had a blood test today, did they give you the numbing cream? next time you get a blood test, definetly ask for the numbing cream! i had it on today when i got mine and i couldnt feel a thing! i didnt think she'd done it and asked her when she'd do it and she said ive done it!

@GodessOfTheForest i prefer blood tests to vaccinations... i used to have needle phobia up until about a year ago, and i just had a blood test done the other day :) the lab tech was incompetent and she had to fish for my vein, poked me twice and i had to tell her where it was, but apart from that it didn't hurt too bad, i refuse vaccinations though... especially after what i've read about them now... read up, educate yourself, you'll see what i mean!

I had to have (Well still having) 3 jabs for cirvical cancer (Im 12 ;P) And Im petrified on needles.. we were queueing for the 1st jab and i started crying 1st xD I Made my friend cry :P And everyone was like ''Its okay! it didnt hurt!'' I Got it, then i had my 2nd one and i was like ''Ouch ouch oucch!'' then when it finished i said '''THAT HURT!''' And the nurse laughed. now im getting my 3rd one soon :) And im getting a blood test cuz my grandpa has heart attacks. so not look foreward :(

I'm going through my 6 month hepatitis B vaccinations right now and I have done 2 out of 3 needles so far, the first one I was REALLY scared because when I was little I remember it hurting, but I sat still and it was just 3 short second of a tiny pinch, you may think "tiny pinch" is making it seem like less pain then it is but when you think it's really going to hurt it makes it worse, like when you watch someone get hurt you might get sympathy pains.
