I don't understand it !!! How can a woman THIS TALENTED not become a super star ?? Something went very wrong here. Bad management? Bad Producers? Bad work ethics? Substance abuse ? I think it was more than substance abuse. Billie Holliday's stuff still made it thru. I am a Chaka Khan fanatic but I always thought Vesta was the only vocalist I'd ever seen or heard who fit into the same arena with Chaka. PLUS, Vesta could have given Oprah trouble if she'd had a talk show.
