@Bigblackdacoolkat Bullshit. Detroit was a prosperous city until the Race Riots of 1967. When you attack the very people who work hard and provide jobs and clean safe neighborhoods for you and chase them away, then what will you have left? Detroit is what you have left. I lived there in the 70's and 80's, I know the truth. When your employees cannot safely live and raise their kids close to your company, you move it. It's up to the people of Detroit to clean it up, not the Government.

@YoungDreezee I bet those folks in Philly don't put up with the thug garbage in those affluent neighborhoods either, and most likely they are not racist against Whites openly. I grew up in Detroit, it's the reverse there. It's coming back because other races are moving back in, mainly because it's cheap, but also because a new generation is moving beyond the old wounds because it's tired. so now the D has a chance to try to get it right. But if they are attacked, guess what, back to nothing.

@YoungDreezee I know all that, but you can't deny that what destroyed Detroit was Whites leaving and crime going out of control.  When people are attacked and robbed and killed repeatedly, of course they are going to jet. I am just saying you can't live without other races my friend.

@YoungDreezee I agree, you do have to invest people in their own hoods, otherwise they just don't care enough to take care of them. But to say you should boycott a business because it's owned by another race is crazy. How many are the ONLY businesses in hoods where no one else will come, and how many are targets for rats endlessly? Those people should be respected for staying and looked out for.

@YoungDreezee GM sells more cars in China than they do here. And those cars are MADE in China. Toyota, Honda, Hyundai, Nissan and the list goes on, build cars here, and employ Americans. GM didn't learn anything by getting taxpayer money, except how to keep paying themselves.

@bud9613 - naw man, we care about Detroit... That why I bought that 2010 Tahoe. Trying to do my part and keep somebody's job here in the USA, Besides, private equity firms will be purchasing some of those houses and renovating/renting them until the real estate market changes. In about 5-10 years D-Town will be strong as ever

@siuwed - I didnt realize you responded so many times to my comments, but--- I didnt say that Blacks can live without the rest of the population. We live in a global society, everyone is connected. And its not that we dont trust whites, In general, we dont keep our money we earn into our communities. Soon as we get it, its going to the local chinese store or Nike or Polo. Im not saying that Blacks shouldnt buy Nike or Polo, but buy Sean John or Michael Irvin brand suits sometimes.

@siuwed - Blacks want to work, just like everyone else. You know why there was riots? A guy was wrongfully killed. And it was the 60's... King, JFK and X was killed in that decade. Whites have destroyed places also. Iraq? Why did someone throw a shoe a Bush? Times are tough because the US companies open shop overseas and took the jobs with them. Why pay Whitey $25/hour or Darkie $16/hour when you can pay a Chinese guy $0.70(cents/hour). If you still cant figure this out, go to school

@siuwed - The Economic problem fuels the race problem. I been to Detroit once, so I cant really comment about the city. However, I live in Philly, and Philly has a nice section of affluent African Americans living in an area called Mt Airy. Some own businesses in that neighborhood, and its a great area to live in especially neat Mt Airy ave. Property taxes are high in that area. However, in North and West Philly, not many own their property let alone businesses. Economics fuel racism

@YoungDreezee Strategic overpricing has been known to boost sales as well though ;) oc mostly just for less major investments than a new car.
