@Bigblackdacoolkat Bullshit. Detroit was a prosperous city until the Race Riots of 1967. When you attack the very people who work hard and provide jobs and clean safe neighborhoods for you and chase them away, then what will you have left? Detroit is what you have left. I lived there in the 70's and 80's, I know the truth. When your employees cannot safely live and raise their kids close to your company, you move it. It's up to the people of Detroit to clean it up, not the Government.

Economics 101- if the product is cheaper AND better than your product, you will fail. It took Ford, GM and Chrysler 40 years to figure that out.

@siuwed - do you think cities are the only areas with problems? rich people are having same issues of foreclosure, and unemployment (and Pedophilia / Sex Trade). Foreclosure hit Lenny Dykstra, Nicolas Cage, just to name a few. It doesnt have anything to do with racism, it never did. The problem is mainly we dont do enough business with each other. As soon as we get paid, we are spending money outside of our community. Its not changing hands within our race.

@YoungDreezee You got that right, kind of. The only way ANYONE gets and keeps anything is to work for it. Unfortunately you still have that "us against them" mentality, if you think that 12% of the population can live without the rest, you are doomed to continue along as you have. The real problem is that Blacks don't trust Whites and attack them despite everything they try to do to atone, and at some point Whites just get fed up and turn their backs on what is nothing more than racism.

@siuwed - Actually, Japan and Germany were making cars much more efficient than America starting in the 70's when gas prices spiked (sounds familiar?). Packard tried to tell Ford and GM to make a better quality car and instead they got together and drove Packard out of business. Americans where buying more foreign cars than domestic in the 1980's like 3 to 1. They were cheaper and more reliable. Compare the 1989 Taurus to the 1989 Accord. Enough said
