Lesley Owusu is an experienced international 400 meter runner who has represented Great Britain at World, Commonwealth and European stages. As a promising and gifted junior athlete she won three English Schools Championships in the 200 metres, 300 metres and 400 metres and three National Championships in the 400 metres and was a Silver 200 metres Medallist at the Youth Olympics, before earning a scholarship to the University of Nebraska, USA in 1997. With her strong interest in journalism and sports Lesley always sought to be the fastest moving journalist ever and in many ways achieved that goal by balancing the best of both worlds.
