More videos: http://tinyurl.com/ygdon6f/ Many people enjoy swimming or wading in the Upper Delaware River but are unaware of the dangers. The Times Herald-Record looks at why so many people have drowned in this scenic section of the river.
After a rain, the Delaware can be a nightmare. Nothing like a 100 foot tree coming at you when you're in a kayak or canoe .... It's like a house coming down toward you ... and don't think you can beat the current ... even though it's shallow in many areas, there are the deep spots and the rocks that catch your feet.
