@visualpr3cision yes the least amount of restrictions in your exhaust will help with the spool sound thru the exhaust. my 1.8t has a catless 3" downpipe with a magnaflow muffler and no resonator and I can hear it spool pretty good through the exhaust :)
Also, my 2.5" qtp electric cutout just came in the mail :):)

i have a mkv gti and did the resonator and muffler delete and i dont get that downspool sound. if i get a catless dp will that do the trick?

@philly624 Clearly... ;)

K03,K04 or what else? Wild sound hohewer! ;)

Sounds good IMHO!...a lot like mine. I run a straight pipe dump...most are annoyed by how loud it is, but it's intimidating on the street LOL

The cutout sounds good man... wondering if you decided to keep this on and use it regularly?

@joygasm247 no, I actually took it off a week later. I didn't like the sound. It was to much like an SRT4 for me and resonated really badly inside the cabin

How long r u gonna keep it like this?

not sure. gunna see if it uncorks any power on the dyno. i'm not 100% crazy over the sound, but it sounds better in person from outside the car than it does from inside or on a video. if it doesn't add any power or if it kills my low-end than it's coming out

@Meatstick62 im sure it killed your low end...i know this was a year ago but what were the results? i know on my moms audi 1.8t it killed the low end but when rpms went up high she ran beautifully :D

@RazorWind92 I never got a chance to get it on a dyno. The motor to the valve got ripped off by a curb at Homestead so I scrapped the whole thing.
