how do you film in standard quality, i hate the hd its slow on my computer

The standard upload quality to youtube completely sucks wang. Doesn't matter what quality you recorded it in, it's still jittery and very pixelated thanks to compression used while uploading it. I can view my .MTS files on my PC as if I just recorded them on the camera, but uploading them takes the shine off the quality.
I need to know how to fix this, are there any editing prog's available which are decent and won't bust the bank? I want my vid's to be uploaded like this one.

make sure you're recording in it's highest resolution setting

i did that, but afther the exporting to itunes it will suck anyway.
did you use Everio media browser?

never touched the Everio media brower.
i don't understand why so many people are running into problems of getting good quality out of this camera. I didn't do anything fancy. Just record, copy the file from the SD card to computer, throw it into premiere, drop the title in there, export it out as H.264, upload to youtube.

How did you get the HD button for youtube? I uploaded my video to Youtube using the included software but there is no HD button on the vid. Any suggestions?
