Knowing martial arts does NOT make you a super hero! *Sigh...* Super hero means you have super powers, i.e. inhuman. Harry Potter and Superman are super heroes because they have powers humans don't. Batman and Jacky Chan rely on gadgets and martial arts and so are just heroes because they're like any of us.
Writing something of your own that's not influenced by common myth is often admirable, but I'm surprised she says Bella is a charater of her own: of everyone who calls her a Mary-Sue...

@9tome6 I was thinking the same thing. I wonder if she's ever seen a fairy film...
-
Never seen a vampire movie or read a vampire book, that'd explain it...
-
@DarthSidiousReturns I completely agree

"I've never read any Stephen King" AAAWWWWKWARRRRD!

Bella is not a chosen one who everyone is waiting for for a million years.
But wasn't Edward waiting for her?
-
Bella just gets worse and worse with each book.
Cowardly, clingy and pathetic.
Perfect role model for young teenage girls!
Lestat would KILL Edward.
