This song is inspired by the Netherlands, but it really applies everywhere, to most cultures in western civilisation to different degrees.

Swiping the head off your beer is something they do in every bar with beer served on draught.

They have a saying "je kop niet boven het maaiveld uitsteken"; "Don't stick your head out of the crowd".

In dutch education, 6 out of 10 is a pass (actually 5.5 because they round to nearest). You can compensate some 5's with 7's. Many students attempt to only achieve the minimum possible instead of trying to maximise their potential. This is a recognised problem in the dutch education system.
