Dude I wouldn't argue with you that the English treated Ireland badly during the 1800's, but now the United Kingdom offers much much more than the Republic does to the 6 counties in terms of health and social care, employment, civil liberties, education and economy. Thats why the majority of the population in Northern Ireland wish to for the union to remain. It seems that most people from both communities just want to get on with each other and move on from the last 25 yrs. Its time for change.
