My friend, nicjasno, operating under the pseudonym LPE Power, builds and sells pneumatic lego engines and cars.

This is a stop motion video of him building a V8 engine for a customer. It requires quite a bit of modification of existing lego parts, along with fabrication of several tubes, along with a very complex assembly process.

He also made the track we used to run the camera on from lego, the man's a Lego genius!

    what software did you use to make the morphing effect between the single images?

  • @PhiSei92 I used twixtor, it's a plugin for Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro (and many other video editing programs). If the lego track was sturdier, I wouldn't have needed it, because I could have taken more frames, without having to wait for it to stop wobbling first.
