Bounced off the limiter at 6500 RPM between 2-3 shift (should have shifted at 6200 RPM) and suddenly had this loud tick.

Oil pressure is 60 psi cold, 20 psi at hot idle.

No noise at idle, as soon as the revs go above idle, the sound comes. Pulled both valve covers, no damage to the rocker arms or broken springs, sound seems to be coming from under the intake manifold.

Mods are : PS long tubes, Comp Cams 503, Comp Cams Pro Magnum 1.6 rocker arms, Comp Cams 918 Beehive valve springs, 3" ORY, Hooker Aerochamber
