Guitar is out of tune. Are you using a soft pick?

If so, use a hard one...the strumming needs work.

its just the tunning of the song is different and the strings are not quite used to it

and this song was written for finger picking, thats why Jacky is swinging his wrist to make the strumming softer

Maybe it's the quality of the instrument; the intonation seems off. I play in a lot of altered tunings so I'm used to the difference.

He'd have way more control if he curled his rh fingers inside the palm. He does have a good sense of rhythm though.

you cant expect too much from a guitar that still has a price tag, those demos can be pretty old and worn

that's not a regular-sized pick that's why. it's the small hard pick for jazz on elcectric guitar....

Sorry but he has nothing close to the skills of a Classical guitarist.

Which school does he teach because I don't see the influence...

Certainly not Segovia, Williams, Parkening or Bream style playing. Even adapting for steel string; he simply is not using Classical technique.
