Gay rights supporters marched, chanted and danced in cities coast to coast Saturday to protest the vote that banned gay marriage in California. One of the largest rallies was held in Los Angeles. (Nov. 15)

Impeach villaraigosa! I can't believe I voted for this guy. He doesn't represent the opinions of all Latinos. Most of us are against gay marriage.

Sad to say, it seemed that Villaraigosa didn't know much English. Still, his speech is very empowering and makes me feel reassured.

Gays are just as human as straights. How I wish that bigots would see that. If one doesn't want to consider a union between two persons of the same gender, he/she doesn't have to! But they should, at least, let the rest of us consider it whatever we want. We don't mess with your lives, homophobes - do not mess with ours.

I'm embarrassed to live in a nation that promises rights to everyone, but does not allow gays to marry. And even if it is against the Christan religion (which i dont think it is), it should still be legal! This is a country where you have religious freedom, so why does the whole country have to follow the Christan morals? Plus, how does a man you dont even know marry another man affect you at all?
