  • I've seen Jethro Tull many times live since the 1970's and I found last years tour a bit boring really. The current band line-up, whilst good musicians, lack any kind of character. Also it was an acoustic only tour in England so Martin Barre didn't get to rock out on his electric guitar. The song selection was poor; including 2 tracks by the guest violinist was a big mistake as the audience became restless and bored, and the classical reworking of Aqualung was sleep inducing.

  • I really don´t agree with your comment. I like the show very much, and the violinist is great. Don´t go to the shows if you don´t like them...

  • I've always liked this track, and this is a good performance of it. A highlight in an otherwise disappointing tour.

  • I liked the rest of the songs very much, I don´t see why you think it´s dissapointing.

  • Thanks for posting this. I used it to illustrate that music written hundreds of years ago (& which may seem obscure to some of my music history students) is still being performed by rock bands today! :oD

King Henry VIII was a true "Renaissance Man" -he was good at everything, including writing music (that is, when he wasn't busy remarrying or having his wives' heads chopped off)!

  • you're very welcome :)

  • jajaja a mi me encanto ese rewsi y oestuve ahi y fue de maravilla te juro posta q me gustaria revivirlo

  • Thanks for your advice. I actually LOVE Jethro Tull, I've got all the albums and as I said I've seen them many times since the 70's. I was just disappointed with the show they did in Birmingham last year, maybe I saw them on a bad night or something. But I

am entitiled to my opinion and you to yours also. So I won't be going to any more Tull shows in the near future, but I will still listen to all the great albums they did and watch the classic 70's and 80's live clips on youtube. Peace.
