Antiterrorist, have you actually read the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union?

It's actually law makers in the UK that removed Double Jeopardy with the introduction of the Criminal Justice Act of 2003.

Innocent until proven guilty and double jeopardy are all enforced by EU law. The claims made in the video are just plain incorrect!

You know, I cannot help thinking that the current credit crunch and subsequent recession has been fabricated in order to devalue the pound to such an extent that the UK people will see the Euro as being a good thing. The timing is almost perfect for the June '09 referendum on Europe.

@sp4rc lol the UK has always been innocent til proven guilty. this is our current constitution, British human rights and has nothing at all to do with the EU the EU want to convert this similar to the USA guilty till proven innocent. The pubic us are being taxed more and more on every level again buy the EU. Open border policy is overcrowding us we are full up we have no more room left and people are still coming. GM foods are back on our shelves because we cant grow enough, thats now

@stevedwray have you done any research into the instution that is the EU? if left unchecked democracy will no longer play any part of any soveriegn nation's elections within the EU, the only real powers our elected governments have is to install any laws and legislation given to us by brussel's, the point of having demcracy is to be able to replace any existing government that isnt doing its job the way people wish them to do it, the EU as it stands cannot be voted or changed unless we leave it
