Hitting the market later this month is this new grind and brew from Breville that offers some unique functionality complemented by their always sleek style. Gail takes us through its specs and we brew up a pot to see how the coffee tastes.

  • Ok Kat or Gail I just gave Breville then best suggestion ever!! Wouldent it be cool if you can have a button or lever to adjust the grinds? And of course I also asked if hey can make it shorter. I know it's hard to tell in your store, but that thing is tall!!! Imagine If this cool coffeemaker had a way to adjust the grinds.

You brew Kat no you brew Gail no you brew Barry hahaha

  • @spital911 We asked them for dosing and also grind consistency changes in our first feedback; hoping they'll provide one or the other! :D - Kat

  • From watching your video I love this coffee maker, except I don't want to have to warm up the pot prior to brewing. I know that my husband won't to this. Do you know when Breville plans to release the glass carafe version? Now I'd buy that in a heartbeat. I just don't now whether I can wait. So I may have to get the Jura Capresso glass grind and brew instead. What do you think?

  • @Bruingal1 Not yet; I know it's in the works, but no ETA - Kat

  • Girls, happy new year! could you tell me if this unit will switch to work on 220 - 240V?

    Thanks in advance

    Steve

  • @theorignalpetrolhead The models we have do not switch, they are 110 only. Sorry! - Kat

  • I nominate this Breville for the "Most Advanced Coffee Maker in the World" award. Wow =oP

  • @klarinetta It's the only con on this brewer in our opinion -- fairly inconsistent and not fine enough for our preferences. - Kat

  • Breville is in the works for the glass version (no Heating necessary). Stay tuned.

  • I prefer the simplicity of the Technivorm KBT 741.

  • @JtothaR06 No PID - Kat

  • @dpd327 Thanks!
