Hunting Horn - another favorite weapon of mine. In MHFU, you have to continuously play each note for about 2 seconds which makes you a sitting duck, however in MHP3, executing a certain attack will save a note. Once you play the hunting horn, the 4 most recent notes will be played simultaneously, activating the appropriate skill. Playing the horn again as soon as a skill is activated allows you to activate the same skill once more. Unfortunately, you can't play a combination of 2 different skills (or perhaps I haven't figured out how to do that yet).

Anyway, this is my nth attempt at beating the freaking monster. With my gathering equipmemt, I'm surely gonna be pummeled. I didn't understand the warning sign so I Googled it. Learned that you could opt not to fight it. So, I assumed there must be a pass ticket after the warning sign... and so I thought.
